Occupational Therapy Driving Assessments, and DVA Home Assessments; servicing South East Queensland including: Gold Coast, Brisbane, Beaudesert, Jimboomba, and surrounds.

An Occupational Therapy (OT) driving assessment is an assessment of how your health conditions or aging might impact your ability safely drive.

The assessment is completed in 2 parts: Off-Road & On Road.

The off-road assessment is completed at your home. We review your medical history and driving background, and complete an assessment of vision, thinking skills, reaction time, and physical abilities. We will discuss your current driving concerns and goals.

The on-road assessment is a practical drive in a dual-controlled vehicle with a driving instructor and the OT. We observe your driving in various traffic conditions. We start off in quiet streets where you are familar before progressing to various traffic conditions in your local area to see how you manage real-world situations.
